"This is unbelievable!" It was impossible for me to ignore the loud voice of my father as I was about to pass by his office. My curiosity got the better of me and I peeked inside the room to see what was up. "The Captain has been taken by Drek! Oh, I knew I shouldn't have pulled back my troops...!" He gasped, walking around his desk while his robot bodyguard followed his every move.

"Please, sir, you must calm down." The robot asked of him, but my father wouldn't obey. Well, he wouldn't listen, I assumed.

"He did told me he had a plan... Was his plan to be captured?! What good will that do!" He placed both of his hands on his head, getting close to hyperventilating. It was definitely not the first time.

"Daddy?" I spoke out loud and his attention was immediately forwarded to me.

"Sasha! What are you doing here? You should be in bed already!" He walked up to me, looking slightly embarrassed of his behavior.

"I know, but I couldn't sleep." There was no way I would say it out loud, but the stress my father got in to would sometimes get to me as well. Not the usual kind he goes through, but... This sort of stress. When he wasn't being dramatic for the sake of being dramatic, but when something bad was really going on.

"Sasha..." He sighed, placing his hand on my shoulder as he kneeled down, giving me a weak smile. "It's okay. There's no monsters here to harm you." He raised his eyebrow when I let out a snort.

"I'm not worried about monsters, I'm worried about you." I gave a small smile in return. "You were going crazy." I turned more serious. "Is Captain Qwark's team... Okay?" My question was very nervous and I could tell my father didn't want to tell me much. "Is Ratchet okay?" I asked and he ruffled my hair with a smile.

"They're fine, don't worry. They have met with... Slight problems, but it's nothing we can't solve." He was barely assuring himself with that one.

"Do you know where Drek took the Captain then?"  I tilted my head, still feeling very worried for Ratchet and the others.

"Would you like to hear a good night's story? Maybe that'd help?" He changed the subject with no change of pace and I could do nothing but nod in agreement. I was still just a child in his mind and physically I certainly was, but I was smarter than he cared to admit.

He stood up, offering me his hand which I took with a smile. He gave a glance at his body guard, who was standing right beside him. Sometimes these guards move like ninjas, I swear. "Call someone to take my place for some time. I have other things to take care of."

"Yes sir." The bodyguard obeyed and he used his built-in headphone to call some other guard while he was walking along the corridor with my father and I.

I did want to know more about what was going on right now, but I was in no place to demand answers. All I could do, was to hope everyone was fine. If nothing else, I could always ask for permission to call the ship and talk a little bit with Ratchet. I can always find out more info from him, I grinned slyly.
